KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 14, 2013 – Rototype International (Malaysia) brought on-board new chief executive officer(CEO), Irwin Oh in January this year, to further drive this proudly Malaysian home-grown retail banking systems and solutions provider’s presence in the Asia-Pacific region.
With Oh’s appointment, Rototype International founder and group CEO Harres Tan will focus on driving the company’s expansion and presence in North America and Latin America, adding to its already established presence in Australia, the U.K., the U.S., Italy, China & Hong Kong and Singapore.
“I will continue in the legacy of Harres and push our blue ocean products in the region,” Oh told Enterprise IT News at his office just before Chinese New Year.
A mechanical engineering graduate, Oh also has post-graduate qualifications in business and IT. Prior to Rototype, he implemented an SAP procurement system for German chemical giant BASF, and spent two years as its regional process expert at BASF regional headquarters in Hong Kong.
BASF also has a big shared services centre in Kuala Lumpur, with a software arm serving international clients.
